Our Story

This is a story all about two friends who have a shared love of books and stories that last long after the last page is read. 

What started as conversations over favorite reads and book recommendations turned into something bigger, an online bookstore and podcast built on building community. We believe books should inspire, comfort, and connect us. Which is why we thoughtfully curate our collection. 

Many of the custom items included in our boxes are sourced from talented local artists, adding a personal and meaningful touch to every order.

We curate our author list in hopes of creating a safe and uplifting community which means we have chosen not to carry authors that don't align with our beliefs. Here at Spines and Secrets we believe in human rights, equality, and that love is love. 

At the end of the day, this is more than just a bookstore, it’s a community built on passion, creativity, and a genuine love for books.
